TORCH TIME RENTAL

$ 8.00 Per Hour for GTT Bobcat
$12.00 Per Hour for GTT Lynx

Torch rental includes the use of torch with appropriate eye protection, rod rest, and vermiculite
for slow cooling. Glass must be purchased as needed.

Rental time will be rounded up to the quarter hour.
Minimum Rental is one hour.

Kiln annealing is upon request and will be fired on the next firing schedule.
If you require a heated kiln while flameworking, add $4.00 to your hourly rate.
Students are responsible for picking up their items after they are kiln annealed.

Studio torch renters must have experience on a surface mixed torch and have taken at least
an introductory class in flameworking.

Wear cotton clothing for your safety. Man made fibers will stick to your skin if burned.
Cotton aprons are available if there is no other alternative.

A safety/liability form must be signed for each 24 hour period and the renter must be at
least 18 years of age. Minimum age for the GTT Bobcat is 14 years of age if a guardian is present.

Torch time rentals may be reserved in advance by phone on your credit card.
No shows will be charged half the price of the first hour.
Rental time begins at the start of your reservation.

When flameworking Borosilicate on the GTT Lynx, the ventilation overhead fan is required.
